The Effect of the Interruption Period on the Multidimensional Performance of Participants in the Senior Employment Program: Focusing on the differences in participation types
Kim Sung-Yong

Abstract
This study aims to analyze how the period of interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic affects the multidimensional performance of participants. To achieve this purpose, data from the 2020 Participant Satisfaction Survey were used. Regression analysis was conducted to analyze how the interruption period affects the participants in four aspects: economic difficulties, interpersonal relationships, physical health, and depression. In addition, the moderating effect on the participation type was analyzed. The main findings are as follows.
The longer the interruption period, the greater the economic difficulties of all the elderly participating, the decrease in interpersonal relations, the weakening of physical health, and the increase in depression. The longer the interruption period for participants in the non-public type compared to those in the public type, the greater the economic difficulties and the weaker the physical health. Based on the research findings, the implications and limitations of the Senior Employment Program were discussed.
